    LMNOP Bakery is hiring a part-time barista with experience to join our team in Katonah, NY. Our baristas are committed to providing great customer service and being part of a growing team dedicated to providing good food, hospitality and service to our community. If you have a love of coffee, baked goods, and serving our community, we’d love to hear from you!

    Essential job responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

    • Arriving on time for all scheduled shifts

    • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-energy, fast-paced, and dynamic environment

    • Stamina for the duration of the shift while being on your feet with ample physical activity

    • Ability to lift 50 lbs

    • Learning and being able to provide customers with details on LMNOP’s bread, pastry, and beverage menus

    • Making and serving beverages with a variety of different brewing and preparation methods in a high-volume environment

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with customers and fellow staff members

    • Taking on tasks to keep the bakery running smoothly and beautifully, including but not limited to, inventory management, cleaning, clearing and washing dishes, sweeping, dusting, mopping, restocking, and organizing storage areas

    • Completing ServSafe’s food handlers license and allergen training course within 2 weeks of your start date, and learning all health, food safety, and safety guidelines

    • Promoting a safe and respectful working environment

    • Weekend and holiday availability required

    • Prior barista experience preferred

    Compensation
    This position is hourly, plus tips.

  • About this role

    LMNOP Bakery is looking for an energetic, passionate, and responsible baker with experience, knowledge and skills in production baking and sourdough fermentation. An LMNOP Baker is responsible for assisting in daily production operations of the bakery, working efficiently and effectively with the BOH team to ensure products are made to the highest standards.

    Essential skills:

    • Being able to lift 50 lbs

    • Able to spend long days on feet

    • Good organizational and time management skills

    • Strong independant worker as well as with a team

    • Excellent communication with bake team/FOH/management

    • Adaptable to varying needs of production

    • Good work ethic

    • Maintain quality control, with attention to detail

    • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

    • Comply with health and safety standards

    • Awareness of time sensitive projects, and delivering for service on time

    • Food handlers license required

    • Weekend/Holiday availability required

    Daily tasks:

    • Scaling, mixing, shaping, doughs and batters

    • Baking breads and pastries to LMNOP standards

    • Comply with health and safety standards

    • Manage and maintain inventory

    • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

    Compensation

    • This position is hourly, varies DOE, $19-23

    • Ability to execute sandwich menu quickly and to LMNOP standards

    • Maintain and clean and organized work environment

    • Time management

    • Works well independently or with a sandwich supervisor

    • Staying ahead on preparation for daily sandwich production

    • Excellent food safety protocol

    • Inventory management and communication with inventory manager

    Compensation

    • This position is hourly, varies DOE, $18-20
